The STIHL RMA 453 PV Battery Lawn Mower is designed to make mowing medium-sized lawns and sloping terrain easier. Featuring Vario wheel drive and a 51 cm cutting width, it allows you to adjust the mowing speed between 0 and 4.6 km/h using the intuitive digital control panel for greater comfort and control.
Powered by the STIHL AP System, the RMA 453 PV features sequential battery discharge, automatically switching to a second battery when the first is depleted. This helps you mow larger areas efficiently without needing to stop and change batteries manually.
Equipped with a multi-blade, integrated mulching function and side discharge, the RMA 453 PV gives you the flexibility to mulch, collect clippings or discharge them directly onto the lawn. The folding, height-adjustable comfort handlebar provides ergonomic operation, while the central cutting height adjustment offers 7 settings from 20 mm to 100 mm for a precise finish. The 55 L folding grass catcher is easy to remove and empty, making lawn maintenance even more convenient.

POWER BOOST
MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE INCREASE. Thanks to intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.
CONSTANT POWER
When using other brands of battery tools, the performance can sometimes decrease during work as the battery discharges. This isn't the case with STIHL battery-powered tools. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your tool will work with consistently high power across the entire battery charge, until there is no energy left in the battery.

COMFORTABLE WORKING AND STORAGE. The comfort handlebar is only mounted on one side of the lawn mower, making it easier for you to remove the grass collection box. As the handlebar is height-adjustable, it enables you to mow your lawn comfortably and ergonomically. You can adjust it to your preferred height without using tools. As the handlebar is also foldable, the lawn mower can be compactly stored and transported.
VARIO WHEEL DRIVE
FOR INDIVIDUAL SPEED ADJUSTMENT. Vario wheel drive allows you to adjust the speed of your lawn mower to suit your personal mowing habits and grass conditions. The mowing speed can be adjusted on a an infinitely variable basis via the control lever on the handlebar.
FLOW-OPTIMISED BLADES
ENERGY-EFFICIENT WORKING. Flow-optimised blades mean your lawn mower uses less electricity; as a result, you can use cordless mowers to mow larger areas with the same amount of energy, even without charging. The blades trim the grass with minimal air resistance, making optimal use of the stored energy.
FOLDING GRASS COLLECTION BOX
EASY EMPTYING. Your lawn mower is equipped with a folding grass collection box to make emptying clippings very straightforward. The fill-level indicator signals the right time for emptying. An airstream ensures dense filling while mowing, so you can make optimum use of the full volume of the box. The slats on the side of the box direct the air towards the ground, which protects you from dirt being swirled up.
CENTRAL CUT-HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT FOR LAWN MOWERS
FOR OPTIMUM MOWER RESULTS. You can adjust the cutting height on your lawn mower easily and in several levels. A scale shows the current height. Central cut-height adjustment allows you to optimally adapt your mowing to the conditions of the lawn.
ECO MODE
ENERGY-EFFICIENT WORKING. With Eco mode activated, the speed of your lawn mower engine automatically adapts to the output you actually need. This means that your battery lawn mower uses less energy and can handle a larger area before it needs to be charged again.
SEQUENTIAL DISCHARGE
WORK UNINTERRUPTED FOR LONGER If the first battery in your device runs out, it will automatically switch to the second battery without interrupting your work.
DIGITAL HMI
WELL-INFORMED WORK. The display and controls on the handle bar of your lawn mower inform you of the charge level of the batteries, the working mode you have selected, the maximum speed setting and possible faults thanks to several indicators. This allows you to see at a glance what is necessary to work effectively at all times. In addition, you can use the HMI to make changes to settings such as the driving speed or mowing mode.
IPX4 CERTIFIED
SPLASHWATER PROTECTION. The IPX protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. The moisture protection test is defined in different stages. IPX4 certifies protection against splashwater from all sides. Battery-powered tools with this certification are therefore designed for daily use, even in rainy conditions.
