The STIHL HLA 140 Battery Extended Hedge Trimmer is built for professionals who need powerful, precise hedge maintenance across parks, roadsides, commercial landscapes and large properties. As part of the STIHL ALLPRO System, it delivers low-noise, low-vibration performance, making it ideal for use in residential and other noise-sensitive areas.

Lightweight yet highly capable, the HLA 140 is designed for trimming tall and wide hedges, shrubs, bushes, ground cover and ornamental hedges. Its 600 mm double-sided, friction-optimised universal blades provide fast, clean cutting for shaping, pruning and routine hedge maintenance.

The high-performance brushless EC motor delivers consistent power with minimal vibration, while the ergonomic control handle with a digital operating interface offers simple operation.

For outstanding versatility, the 145° adjustable cutter bar allows comfortable overhead, side and low-level trimming, while the 249 cm overall length provides excellent reach. A quick-connect carrying ring enables fast attachment of a shoulder strap for improved comfort during extended use.

It can also be fitted with the optional STIHL base for the HTA 135 and HLA 135 to help protect the battery from dirt and moisture when working close to the ground.

As part of the STIHL ALLPRO System, the HLA 140 is designed for daily professional use and is IPX4 certified for reliable operation in wet weather.
